Some Australian producers understand the nebbiolo grape better than others. Narelle King has a sensitive approach, allowing a sense of power to pervade her wines while also searching for the inner fineness. The aromatics of rose petal and cherry mix with earth, mineral and spice. Elegance is delivered through fleshy red fruits and anise. The tannin isn’t shy, but it’s not supposed to be. A convincing wine in every respect. JP 13.5% alc.

Tell us something interesting about this wine? Our nebbiolo was open fermented and cold soaked for 24 hours before inoculating. It was sparingly plunged by hand, keeping the cap wet and avoiding excessive tannin extraction, then racked to old French oak barriques for 18 months maturation prior to bottling.
