2019 WARRAMUNDA ESTATE THE COMPASS SERIES CABERNET MERLOT CABERNET FRANC, YARRA VALLEY
A blend of 55/25/20% merlot/cabernet franc/cabernet sauvignon. A deep, vibrant, crimson purple. Impressive from the outset, with aromas of black plums, dark cherries, blackberries, cedar and fresh vanilla bean. Unctuously flavoured, yet very well balanced, there is a core of perfectly ripened dark fruits and this finishes long and seductive with very fine and persistent tannins. Good now and in the medium term. PR 14% alc.
