It’s no secret that Australia’s favourite grape is shiraz. It is both the best-known and the most widely planted variety in the country. RIEDEL have been the leading brand in functional glassware since the release of their first Grape Varietal Specific series, Sommeliers, in 1974. We spoke to Managing Director Mark Baulderstone about the evolution of RIEDEL glasses for shiraz, and how their product development is influenced by climate, winemaking techniques, and trends.
