RIEDEL Vinum Syrah/Shiraz

-

In that same year, Georg was introduced to Australia’s distinctive style of New World shiraz and realised that it was missing its ideal glass within the RIEDEL portfolio. Through a series of workshops, a second successful shape emerged: the Vinum Shiraz glass for the New World style. Designed in 1986 by Georg J. Riedel, Vinum is RIEDEL’s varietal specific stemmed series. The Syrah/Shiraz glass is perfect for balancing the gripping tannins and concentrated fruit typical of medium-bodied red wines. It has become the most versatile red wine shape in the RIEDEL range.
