Intense and concentrated blackberry, black plum and black cherry fruit notes with plenty of cedary oak nuance and hint of deep, dark spice, formic acid, salted black licorice, Old Jamaica chocolate, fig jam and earth. Weighty, full bodied and superconcentrated, with ripe, sandy tannins retreating back into the fruit and intense blackberry jam and a cedary plume on the long finish. DB 15% alc.

What is special about the vineyard this wine was made from? The Fifteen Claims vineyard is located on a high, south-east facing slope at Moppa in the far north western corner of the Barossa Valley. The site is riddled with ancient ironstone, producing a small crop of intensely flavoured shiraz berries.
