Fowles is a family-owned winery, cellar door and restaurant located in the dramatic, high-altitude landscape of the Strathbogie Ranges. The region’s ancient granitic soils and cool climate all combine to produce intense, elegant wines that are full of character.

What are your highlights of the past year? Vintage '22 was a wild ride due to high winds at flowering. This led to low crop yields but with excellent quality. Standout varieties include chardonnay, pinot noir, shiraz and cabernet with some wild-fermented parcels shaping up to be benchmark wines.

How should we enjoy these wines this season? Fowles’ rich family history of farming and appreciation of the land and region is reflected in everything we do. Our wines are made to be enjoyed with the flavours and textures of wild game and farm-raised meats, and generously shared with friends and family.
