MORE MEN NEED TO BE SUN SAFE

Recent research from the National Cancer Research Institute has shown that the rate of men dying from malignant melanoma has risen in populations around the world, with Australian men having the highest three-year average death rates in the world (5.72 per 100,000 men). The study suggests that men are less likely to protect themselves from the sun than women or to engage with melanoma awareness and prevention campaigns.
