BURBERRY’S NEW POP UP
Taking advantage of the European summer, Burberry has opened a popup store in Nammos Village, Mykonos. The pop-up will house chief creative officer Riccardo Tisci’s debut collection, the spring/summer 2019 collection titled ‘Kingdom’ and the new Thomas Burberry Monogram collection. In celebration of Tisci’s return to London (after studying at Central Saint Martins over 18 years ago), the Kingdom collection takes inspiration from the unique melting pot of creativity and traditions at the very heart of the UK – from the punk and rebellious to the more formal and refined. Meanwhile, the Thomas Burberry Monogram collection celebrates both the house’s founder and its heritage through a new signature house code of interlocking TB initials in tonal shades of Burberry beige and brown. This code features across ready-towear garments and accessories.
