STELLA SHINES IN MILAN

British designer Stella McCartney once again travelled to Milan to present her new women’s and men’s spring-summer 2020 ready-to-wear-collections. During Milan Men’s Fashion Week, a garden in the city’s Cinque Vie neighbourhood formed the backdrop for the colourful collection that blurred the lines between masculine and feminine. Guests were greeted by a collective of student activists that hosted a peaceful protest at the event, helping to raise awareness of climate change. Titled ‘Force for Nature’, the women’s spring 2020 collection revolves around the concept of a strong-hearted woman who cares about the future of our planet. Horses dance across dresses, and acidic botanicals are punched out with modern colour-blocking. Powerful minimalism is injected by quintessential Stella classics, while the utility is modernised in refreshing spring colour.
