INTELLIGENT CHAIRS

Philippe Starck has partnered with Intelligent Generative Design to cocreate his latest piece for Kartell – the A.I. chair. The unique chair was created using design exploration technology that allows designers and engineers to input their design goals, along with a variety of parameters such as manufacturing methods, materials and cost restraints. The innovative software then explores all of the possible configurations before generating design alternatives. It also tests and learns from each iteration to find what works and what doesn’t.
