Last Christmas morning, my neighbour brought over a bottle of champagne with this hat on it. I handed the hat to my 10-year-old and popped the bottle to pour our mimosas. As we cheered, we looked over to see the kids giggling at our very ladylike rescue cat, Puddy, wearing the silly Santa hat. I snapped this adorable pic and rewarded our darling Puddy for her festive spirit with a nibble of Christmas ham. This photo captures the ‘silly season’ perfectly for us; it’s these moments of joy and togetherness that we remember.
