MiNDFOOD

LETTER OF THE MONTH

- Layla

I wanted to say a big thank you. Five months ago I had my second bub. Work got me a voucher for a magazine subscription and, thankfully, I chose MiNDFOOD. I get 20 minutes to myself at the end of each day: my three-year-old is in bed, my husband feeds the baby to sleep, and I express whilst blissfully reading my MiNDFOOD magazine in peace. I have post-natal depression for the second time and I really look forward to this time of the day. I use it as my mindful ‘me time’. The enticing stories and amazing photography remind me of a life pre-kids. It’s a life I will have again one day, when the kids don’t need me so much. Whilst the tasty, nutritious recipes give me things to do during the day with my threeyear-old, the puzzles keep my brain active and engaged for more than ‘mum duties’. My mental health has been better for MiNDFOOD, and for that I am forever grateful.
