MiNDFOOD FOR OUR TIMES
For the past three years, I have attended my local library’s book sale; at the first one is where I saw and purchased my first MiNDFOOD magazine. I was attracted by the cover design and intrigued by the article headlines. From that first one, I was hooked.
There were articles to make me think, educate me, enlighten me, entertain me, and puzzles to challenge me. Being a library sale, I was purchasing and reading magazines six to 12 months old, but that did not matter in the slightest; your articles stood the test of time.
Fast forward to the ‘Year of the Virus’. No library sales = no MiNDFOOD magazines; I lost my beloved 18-year-old cat; and along with millions, I was and still am concerned and anxious.
My vet asked me to foster a six-month-old kitten who had been continually passed over for adoption since he was eight weeks old. Result: he was formally adopted by us (of course! Clever vet). At the same time, for the first time, I won a gift card and straightaway knew what to use it for: a subscription to MiNDFOOD.
So here I sit on a still, cool summer’s morning, reading the current MiNDFOOD magazine! The perfect end to a topsy-turvy year.
