Helping us to savour those last days of summer, the new sparkling from Champagne house G.H. Mumm is made from grapes from New Zealand’s oldest wine-making region. Mumm Marlboroug­h Brut NV ($35) and Mumm Marlboroug­h Rose 2015 ($40) are made using the same classic Champagnem­aking techniques as Maison Mumm, méthode traditione­lle. Both sparkling wines are made from the classic trio of Champagne grapes pinot noir, chardonnay and meunier, with pinot noir playing the starring role, the signature of the famous G.H. Mumm Champagne house.
