The clever people behind Fishbowl – Nathan Dalah, Nic Pestalozzi and Casper Ettelson – have officially opened Fish Shop in Bondi, a unique fine-casual dining experience, that combines restaurant, bar and a good old-fashioned fish shop. Led by head chef Joel Bennetts (Bistrode), the menu is seasonal, and is inspired by the Mediterran­ean and coastal Middle East. Customers dining at the restaurant can pair their meals with an all-Australian natural wine list and a short and sharp cocktail menu. For snacks, diners can tuck into freshly shucked Appellatio­n rock oysters, anchovy toast and cured fish plates.
