Researchers from Lithuania have identified what they believe to be the first signs of Parkinson’s. Currently, there is no definitive test for the disease. Using cutting-edge AI technology, the researchers studied speech samples to pinpoint the early warning signs. “It is great to see more research into early detection of Parkinson’s so that we have new ways to diagnose and monitor the condition as early intervention and treatment can really help people to live well with the condition,” says Naveena Kapur of Parkinson’s UK.
