Eye-rolling expresses contempt and doesn’t help with communication. If you don’t like what you see or hear, try taking a deep breath instead. Reach out to someone who lives alone. A visit or phone call can cheer the other person and benefit you, as well, by boosting your sense of purpose and satisfaction.
