WATERMELON BERRY CIDERS
MAKES 3½–4 CUPS HANDS ON TIME 10 MINUTES
500g peeled watermelon, chilled
500g fresh or frozen strawberries
350ml apple cider or sweet sparkling wine, chilled 1. Blend watermelon and berries in a blender or food processor until mixture is smooth. 2. Set a sieve on top of a large jug. Pour fruit mixture into sieve, stirring gently with a spoon to help strain all juice into jug. Discard pulp and seeds in sieve.
Set juice aside (unless serving immediately).
3. Add cider (or wine) to jug and stir gently, then divide among glasses or bottles and serve. Add a bit of tang with grated ginger, fresh mint or lime juice
