SARAH’S INSPIRING WORDS

It was refreshing reading the article on Sarah Harris (Oct/ Nov). I love her groundedness, honesty and beautiful sense of self-acceptance/love towards her body. Working with young women in schools, with all the body image challenges that they face, I will use Sarah as an example of how, as women, we can be grateful for our bodies, though they’re not perfect. Her final sentence, “What comes out of our mouth is more important than the size of our bum,” was pure gold, and one I would like to see emblazoned on every school wall.

A DECADE OF GOOD ADVICE

I was beyond thrilled when Prevention launched 10 years ago and I’ve hardly missed an issue. Reading the article Celebrating 10 Years (Oct/Nov), which looked at the news and breakthroughs

that your magazine has educated me about, made me realise that so many positive changes I’ve made to enhance my health and wellbeing were a direct result of reading about them in Prevention.

CONQUERING WILLPOWER

Your story Beyond Willpower (Oct/Nov) was a gamechanger for me. I can almost not believe the joy I now find in a salad! Truly useful.
