Hot yoga might be just what the doctor ordered to keep blood pressure in check. A study by the American Heart Associatio­n found that practising hot yoga (at 40 degrees) three times a week over 12 weeks not only reduced blood pressure but also improved stress levels. While not a foolproof alternativ­e to medication just yet, with winter around the corner, ‘saluting the sun’ never looked so good.
