What are Nitrates?
Nitrates have preserving benefits and occur naturally in many foods like spinach and broccoli. However, over time, chemically produced nitrates by laboratories have become the preservative of choice across many categories of food. This has exposed our body to too many nitrates – which is unhealthy if consumed over a long period of time. Furthermore, just as there are those with dairy and gluten intolerances, others have dietary specific requests and sensitivities to certain preservatives. Now in addition to our premium Princi range being dairy free, gluten-free, no artificial colours or flavours - we have the nitrate free option for your enjoyment!

Instead of chemical nitrates, we utilise nitrates made from fruit and vegetable extracts in the curing process, ensuring that you can continue to enjoy our delicious smallgood products even if you are wanting to avoid chemical nitrates.
