Preventing breast cancer

Breast Cancer Trials, Australia’s largest clinical trials research group, is looking for women with the BRCA1 gene mutation to participate in world-first research. The BRCA-P clinical trial aims to prevent breast cancer in this group of women, who have a 70 per cent risk of developing the disease.
