Daytime pretty

-

This natural look is great for busy women because it requires minimal products. “This daytime look is all about soft, fresh tones and radiance,” says Allison Boyle. “I always think make-up is better with a minimal look for the day. The light during the day is less forgiving, so if it’s not applied perfectly – not blended or too heavy – you’re going to see every flaw, so less is best.” First, give the illusion of fuller brows by filling in gaps (Step 1, below). “For eyes, I used taupe eyeshadow and a brown pencil for lining close to the upper lashes [Step 2].” For summer, Allison suggests peachy and pink hues. “Cheeks were a peach powder blush [Step 3] with a small amount of sheen to add brightness.” If you’re a mature woman with dry skin, opt for a creamy blush that also hydrates the skin. For lips, choose a light pink or soft rose lipstick (Step 4) in sheer rather than matt.
