8. Fan decoration

What you need

Double-sided decorative paper Ruler

Pencil

Scissors

Craft glue

Circle squeeze punch Cardboard

Method

1 Cut out 20cm squares of paper, using double-sided paper.

2 Take one square of paper. Fold the paper in half diagonally, then open out. Fold diagonally again, this time in the opposite direction, and open out.

3 Using a ruler, mark a point about

3cm from the centre of the square.

4 Cut from one corner along the diagonal fold stopping at the mark

3cm from the centre. Repeat cutting along the remaining diagonal folds.

5 Fold the alternate corner sections to the centre of the paper, glueing each section under your thumb at the centre as you work. Continue until all the sections are glued down.

6 Punch a scalloped circle using the squeeze punch. Glue the circle and button to the finished fan, then glue the fan on top of your wrapped present.
