Chicken wire

Method

1 Cut a long, thin piece from the chicken wire to fit down the centre of your Christmas table.

2 Lay the chicken wire piece on your table. Tuck the blue eucalyptus along the piece of chicken wire, covering most of it, to form the base of the table runner. When you get to the ends, run the foliage over the edge of the table, so it cascades off the ends.

3 Start to add the flowers and other greenery by tucking them into the eucalyptus – use string if you need to secure them onto the chicken wire.

4 When you have used all the flowers and greenery, you could decorate the runner with Christmas decorations, such as glittery stars or shiny metallic baubles.
