Ice babies

Early in the morning of our shoot, Taronga’s Amy Russell was at the Sydney Fish Market picking up 400 kilos of shaved ice for the three Sumatran tiger cubs. Mawar, Tengah Malam and Pemanah had never seen ‘snow’ before, but were soon enjoying their new experience. Taronga plays a vital role in the preservation of this critically endangered species, with less than 400 left in the wild.
