Christmas tree cones

You will need

Papier-mâché cones

Coloured cardboard

Pencil

Coloured crepe paper streamers Scissors

Sticky tape

Craft glue

Coloured pompoms, various sizes

Stickers/party favours and wrapped chocolates or sweet to fill your cone

1 Trace wide end of cone onto cardboard with a pencil; cut out circle.

2 Stick a few surprises – such as sheet stickers or tattoos on cone. Wrap with streamer to hold in place. Keep wrapping and tucking in more surprises; tuck end into cone. Stuff cone with candy.

3 Tape cardboard circle on base. 4 Decorate Christmas tree cone by gluing on pompoms.

5 Finished cones can adorn the mantelpiece or Christmas table, or act as a fun substitute for crackers.
