After studying in Monaco, designer Ramona Stoica moved to Belgium’s fashion capital, Antwerp, to complete her studies, whereby her award-winning collections drove her to establish her label, Helder Antwerp, in 2017.

The meaning of the brand’s (Dutch) name is “pure, clear, transparent”, which is reflected in its dedication to sustainability, transparency and ethical production. “The steps involved in the making process – from considered techniques and responsible material choices to iterative prototyping – are as important as the final product,” surmised the designer. Helder’s material choices embody this very ethos, utilizing Tencel, organic cotton, viscose and pineapple leather throughout her small-batch ranges, produced locally within her local Romanian atelier.

Ramona approaches her collection with a romantic, artful perspective, opting for feminine colorways, luxurious tailoring and hand-designed prints. Helder can be found stocked in Antwerp at Klooster 11 and Ramon. www.helderantwerp.com
