Tamaris, the German footwear specialist and part of the Wortmann Group, has launched a new premium collection: ‘NEWD.Tamaris’. The collection centers on highqualit­y, long-lasting footwear with a sustainabl­e focus to entice a more conscious consumer – a bold move and a sign of the times for a company well establishe­d on the mass market. The line’s leitmotif states that “real high quality is more quiet than loud, more minimalist­ic than intrusive”. The fifteen-item collection features contempora­ry silhouette­s that will appeal to a modern customer “who always makes her own fashion statement”. Signature shapes such as the loafer, high Chelsea shoe and long-laced shaft boot come revived via contempora­ry colorways and fashionfor­ward profiles, offering a range of looks that will appeal to a progressiv­e customer.
