Founded by San Fran­cisco-based blog­ger, au­thor, copy­writer and cre­ative di­rec­tor St­ef­fan Postaer, the blog en­com­passes fun, easy-to-read ad­ver­tis­ing ar­ti­cles and re­views. Postaer spent 15 years as Ex­ec­u­tive Cre­ative Di­rec­tor at Leo Bur­nett USA and served as Chief Cre­ative Of­fi­cer and Chair­man for Euro RSCG Chicago (now Havas) from 2004 to 2011, be­fore he be­came gyro’s Ex­ec­u­tive Cre­ative Di­rec­tor in Fe­bru­ary 2012. He is the re­cip­i­ent of pres­ti­gious ad­ver­tis­ing awards in­clud­ing a Kelly Award, Best of Show, and gold and sil­ver awards at com­pe­ti­tions such as the Cannes Lions Fes­ti­val and the Addy Awards. The list of brands he cre­ated ad­ver­tis­ing for in­cludes Heinz, Mcdon­ald’s, Al­toids, and John­nie Walker among oth­ers. Ini­tially a com­mu­ni­ca­tions and cre­ative writ­ing grad­u­ate, Postaer is also the au­thor of three nov­els in­clud­ing “The Happy Soul In­dus­try” (2008) which imag­ines what would hap­pen if God hired an ad­ver­tis­ing agency to mar­ket heaven.
