Description

Tiny palm-sized pin looms are making a comeback. Here is the perfect book to get started with this intriguing weaving technique.

Reviews

This is a wonderful introduction to pin weaving! Margaret Stump is so clearly passionate about her craft, and passionate about sharing it.

Pin looms are quite expensive—for what they are (although not for the joy and satisfaction they provide)—but in this book, Margaret gives us templates for making them.

She answers the question as to how much yarn you need for a square, and provides weaving instructions for basic squares and patterned squares. All this is clearly illustrated and easy to understand.

What is more, there are patterns galore—for bags and cases, gifts and home décor, blankets (including animal blankets complete with stencils), and a beautiful farm set, with animals, a farmhouse which becomes a tote, and cute little Amish dolls.

If you have always wanted to try pin weaving, but had no idea where to start or what to make, this is the perfect book!
