Intermediate Sumas Mountain, Abbotsford

Located between Abbotsford and Chilliwack, Sumas Mountain is one of the most popular mountains in the Fraser Valley. With more than 900 m of vertical gain and upwards of 15k to explore, this route offers views of Chadsey Lake and the Fraser Valley, looking east from the peak. Newbies beware: the terrain is diff icult , the trail is narrow and f illed with overgrown vegetation that can get muddy. (But these are also the elements that make this trail so appealing.)
