IAF + Northern Lights 2018

Between January 31 and February 3, 2018, the IAF joined more than 200 exhibitors and 1,200 delegates at the 2018 Northern Lights Conference at the Shaw Centre in Ottawa, ON. The Foundation was pleased to host two days of professional development workshops for artists, including sessions on how to succeed and grow as a small arts business, accessing funding opportunities and the future of the field with regards to exhibition and economic activities. The IAF also led a fruitful discussion on the Foundation’s artist support opportunities, including how to create or claim a profile in the Inuit Artist Database, scholarship and award opportunities and the future of the Igloo Tag Trademark.
