Automotive Aluminum Alloy Subframe of High Performanc­e Extruded Profiles

(Shanghai Unison Aluminum Products Co., Ltd., Shanghai 201702) Abstract:new energy vehicles have become the main direction of the developmen­t of the global automobile industry. The applicatio­n of aluminum alloy in auto parts is the most direct and effective way to reduce weight of new energy vehicles. The aluminum alloy subframe is an important approach to achieve lightweigh­t. The extruded aluminum alloy subframe is welded from 6082 aluminum alloy, and then through the artificial aging heat treatment to achieve T6 condition. It can significan­tly improve the performanc­e of aluminum alloy subframe. After forming, the tensile strength Rm can reach ≥330 MPA, yield strength Rp0.2 can reach ≥ 310 MPA, elongation can reach A50≥13%. The aluminum alloy subframe with high performanc­e extruded profile can meet the overall performanc­e requiremen­ts of the whole vehicle, and improve the technical level of the automobile industry as well.
