I learned to appreciate clothes from my mother. She taught me about things like color and proportion. When I was in high school, I wore all the classic stuff: Levi’s, Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger. Then hip-hop and sports came into the mix, and I got into the whole madness around sneakers and streetwear for a while. Nowadays, I try to balance elegance with street style: loafers with an oversized hoodie, sneakers with a shaggy dog sweater – that’s the kind of thing I like.

It’s from Rototo, a Japanese brand known for great socks, but they also make great wool caps. I’m quite hard to please when it comes to hats; I’ve got a big head and it’s a struggle to cover it up. [Laughs]

I think this is my favorite T-shirt. It’s a collab between Human Made and the Beatles. I bought it in Amsterdam.

This is a Baracuta I bought in Milan three years ago. I didn’t even know they made cardigans, and they must have stopped after that, because I never saw one anywhere again. I like the texture, the color and the kind of Kurt-Cobain-on-MTV-Unplugged vibe.

I found this Nanamica Goretex jacket in Son & Image, my favorite thrift store in Paris. When I walked in, the woman who runs the place said, “I've got something for you.” They hadn’t even put it on a hanger yet. Bingo!

The gloves are from Diemm, the brand of a good friend of mine. When I met him, he was just starting out in business, and I bought his first pieces. I get around by bike a lot, and it’s nice to keep my hands warm.

These are by Peter & May. Ever since I was a kid, I have always gone to Stéphanie and Marc Le Bihan in Cannes for my glasses. Each time I walk into their store, Stéphanie hands me a pair of glasses, and no matter how many others I try on, that always ends up being the pair I buy. She’s very good.

Louis Vuitton pants from Virgil Abloh’s second show. I work there, so I was lucky enough to snag this pair. I love them, with their big pleats. They’re my favorite jeans.

A pair of Weston 180s that my mother gave me for my 25th birthday last year. I wear them about three days out of four.
