It’s a great place for an intimate meal, though the dining room may be might be a bit too dimly lit for some. If you would like to watch the chef in action—which is pretty exciting, actually— pick a table close to the grill. But if you’d rather some peace and quiet, stay far from it because it can be rather distracting. We suggest to start off with carne empanadas to prep your palate, wolfing them down whilst you watch their South American chef prepare premium beef slabs over the open-fire grill. Cuts are generous, the marbling exquisite, and are served with a variety of salsas–which steak purists might agree that you can do without. Don’t be intimidated by their extensive Argentine wine list as staff is always ready to recommend what would complement your dish. Round up your meal by asking if the alfajor is available–these homemade soft cookies filled with dulce de leche are a right treat.
