Guests are led though a moderately sized dining space that is lined with dark-framed glass panels, each embellished with shimmering golden flakes. Lotus Palace takes pride in its innovative touches weaved into traditional Cantonese classics, and the added novelties are set to impress Macau’s discerning palates. Signatures include deep-fried black pepper wagyu beef puffs from the dim sum menu, where feathery light layers of fluffy pastry encase a rich, creamy filling seasoned with the strong pinching heat from black pepper, as well as outstanding fried prawns with creamy pumpkin sauce. While service may be a bit hectic at full capacity, the team is keen and friendly with adequate knowledge on food and wine pairing.
