The surreal décor makes for a private club feel, while there’s just enough of a speakeasy vibe to keep J Boroski popular with locals and visitors alike. Their cinnamon-infused take on an Old Fashioned was sublime, presented with just the right dose of theatricality and smoke while a request for a sour fruit creation bought a magical mix of cherry, yuzu, cinnamon syrup, egg white and kaffir lime leaf. Unexpected, genuinely creative, delicious—but, most of all, just great fun.
