Colourful beanbags, lush greenery and smooth decking gives the bar a slight Copacabana vibe, though it’s described by its creators as a guinguette—a reference to the lively suburban French taverns where drinks flowed freely and dancing was not uncommon. The drinks list is suitably unfussy as a result, with more beers and easydrinking wines than complicated cocktails. Here, it’s Aperol Spritz all the way—it’s even available on tap, and by the jugful. They also serve a pricy A4 Miyazaki wagyu beef katsu sando, though the piqniq baskets filled with light bites such as green mango salad and leek quiche are better bets.
