The venue takes inspiration from the habits of 13th century royal, King Alfonso X of Castile, who decreed that all alcoholic beverages should be served with food—and so thus launching a culture of drinking with tapas. Inside, the space is dimly lit with red leather armchairs and flock wallpaper adding a sense of decadence. The drinks are uniquely layered, with mixes such as the herbaceous Joya, blending Jodphur gin with Pomace herbal brandy liqueur, Mancino Rosso and orange bitters. Snacks include patatas bravas, pollo kebab and a selection of Spanish charcuterie and cheeses for sharing.
