TATLER SAYS
Ciak is a surprisingly hidden eatery in Landmark, but with cosy seating, an extensive wine list and knowledgeable staff, it's a welcoming Italian experience in the heart of Central. Iconic Italian dishes are refined for a modern palate, while the crispyet-chewy pizzas— made with dough proofed for 36 hours— are non-negotiable. Pastas, such as Sicilian red prawn fettucine, are certainly on the al dente side. To finish, a very sharp lemon sorbetto with berries and crumble helped cleanse the palate from the deep flavours of food and wine.
SIGNATURE DISHES
Sicilian red prawns
• fettuccine
Tartufo nero pizza

TATLER TIP
Don't leave without a loaf or two of the fantastic focaccia from the bakery. It freezes incredibly well, if you manage not to eat it all in one go.
TATLER SAYS
The cuisine of Myanmar is not widely represented in Hong Kong, and Club Rangoon has sought to rejuvenate the conversation around this vibrant food culture. It's a deeply personal project of founder Nelson Htoo. On the menu you'll find a contemporary reimagining of dishes such as mohinga, tea leaf salad and deeply flavoured curries.
SIGNATURE DISHES
• Lahpet thoke
• Mohinga
• Burmese-style beef briyani
TATLER TIP
The Kiosk sells readyto-drink cocktails and light snacks such as samusas and villagestyle egg curry bites if you just want a quick grab and go.
