As the name suggests, this is a great destination for a hefty piece of prime beef— but Porterhouse also offers a fantastic range of fish and seafood, ensuring it’s not solely a haven for carnivores; as well as a varied wine list full of interesting options both new and old world. The airy, high-ceilinged dining room’s clean, modern decor serves as a counterpoint to the at times retro menu that includes prawn cocktail and baked avocado (albeit with a 2020s spin) and plating that verges on unimaginative; but who needs smears and foams when dishes are this tasty?
