MIZUMI (WYNN PALACE)

-

With the finest ingredients imported fresh from Japan, friendly and knowledgeable staff and nicely paced meals, Mizumi ticks all the boxes for a Japanese feast. There is never a dull moment, with the enthusiastic staff who come to the table showcasing the freshest ingredients of the day, along with sharing their recommendations. With three distinct cuisines—sushi, tempura and teppanyaki—on the menu, Mizumi is an ideal place to sample a range of Japanese classics. For those who find it difficult to decide between the various dishes, staff are on hand to guide diners through the menu. Service is a strong point: glasses are never allowed to drop to more than half-full. As for the food, a starter of shiso tempura with Hokkaido uni sashimi on top is a good surprise as it is an exercise in contrast between the creaminess and the crunchiness of the ingredients.

The Ishigaki wagyu A5 steak is the signature dish that represents the entire Mizumi experience. Different condiments are available on the plate to provide flexibility in flavour, while a pristine tomato was also available for guests to clean their palate between bites. Not only can we taste the quality of the wagyu with every bite that we take, but also the chef’s attention to detail.
