Located at the lobby of one of Hong Kong’s finest hotels, The Lounge does not disappoint diners with the quality of its food and excellence of its service, making it a worthy part of the famed Four Seasons brand. The expansive menu offers everything from salads, sandwiches, pasta to a wide variety of Asian specialiti­es such as laksa, pad thai and char kway teow. Start off with the king crab which combines crab meat with celery, watermelon, pistachio and yogurt into an appetiser that prepares your palate for the mains. For something rather healthy, we recommend the Mediterran­ean pan-fried sea bass, which is quite filling with a generous slab of perfectly cooked sea bass—tender in the inside and its skin, nice crispy—which sits on shaved radish and pan-fried squid. If you hankering for meat, give the Welsh lamb rack a go, which was cooked pink and tender, and complement­ed by a side dish of zucchini and tomato chutney.

Each of the dishes are impressive­ly plated. The same dedication to excellence is displayed up front with the wait staff at your beck and call without being intrusive.
