Tucked in the basement of Langham hotel, the Bostonian Seafood & Grill’s sexy, dark woody interiors is decorated with an eclectic collection of contemporary Chinese art, dimly lit with corners of the rooms flanked with comfortable leather banquet seating. Service is exceptional—welcoming with plenty of recommendations from the generous portions of variety of seafood offerings. True to the restaurant’s name, they deliver on a variety of fresh, sustainable seafood in the form of one of their signature dishes: the Seafood Tower: a generous platter of shellfish including Boston lobster, oysters, scallops and king prawns served with the housemade cocktail and mignonette sauce. The lobster thermidore is a slightly different take and nod to Escoffier, with grilled lobster topped with a decadent creamy, cheesy mix of mushrooms. Carnivores will enjoy their grilled offerings from USDA prime beef to organic grilled chicken. The wine list is comprehensive featuring a good selection of new and old world wines, with half bottles available.
