UNDER ONE ROOF
The 22nd edition of Food&hotelasia2020 (FHA) returns, with a line-up of 2,000 exhibitors from 70 different countries, spread across 85,000 sqm of space at Singapore Expo. This year, the event has expanded into two massive exhibits – FHA-HORECA (3 to 6 March) and FHA-FOOD & Beverage (31 March to 3 April) for a more immersive experience.
This year, Prowine Asia, a satellite event of the famed Prowein Dusseldorf, one of the largest wine and spirits trade shows in the world based in Germany, will be back for its third edition. Trade visitors can look forward to a dynamic line-up of international wines and spirits, accessories, and services, as well as an opportune platform to network and close fruitful collaborations with fellow industry players from across the world.
FHA2020 will also host a handful of high-octane culinary competitions including the prestigious Bocuse d’or, known to many as the Culinary Olympics of the gastronomic world. Its Asian finals will be staged in Singapore, and will see nine national teams battling for five spots at the grand finals of the Bocuse d'or, to be held in Lyon in January 2021. Other
culinary competitions include the FHA Culinary Challenge 2020, the FHA Barista Challenge 2020, the FHA Latte Art Challenge 2020 and FHA Beer Awards 2020.
The biennial event will also include a series of insightful conferences and workshops to discuss key issues affecting the food and hospitality industry. Attracting more than 500 delegates in four different conferences and six workshops, the FHA2020 International Conference will feature over 100 industry speakers who will be on hand to share their wealth of knowledge and experience.
Fans of food technology will be delighted to hear of the new Foodtech Zone, which will spolitght industry developments and future trends. Pay the Foodtech 4.0 pavilion a visit, where attendees can find products and services that can help achieve their sustainability goal in the businesses. Do also swing by the new Halal Theatre. Highlights include cooking demonstrations by awardwinning chefs and panel discussions by several F&B bigwigs.
