Farewell, Estelle

Estelle Harris – known for her role as George’s mum Estelle Costanza (below, with Jason Alexander) in ’90s sitcom Seinfeld – has died at 93. She also played Mrs Potato Head in Toy Story 2 and big-hearted Muriel in Disney’s The Suite Life of Zach & Cody, but George’s mum was her star turn. “Just look at her as being funny, cute and a loudmouth,” she once said. “But I play her with misery underneath.”
