TASH MCGILL

Whether around a dining table, in an intimate restaurant setting or as a regular at a local bar, good food and drink has a wonderful way of bringing people together from a vast array of cultures. As a travel and hospitality writer, I love experiencing the power of hospitality all over the world and encouraging others to be brave in experiencing all that New Zealand and the world has to offer.

SEAN GOLDING

I work in Wellington’s vibrant and world class hospitality scene. I love how food and drink can bring a neighbourhood together and create culture. I enjoy travelling and finding this kind of culture in different parts of the world and using it to inspire my own hospitality projects with like-minded people.

I eat, therefore I write. It really is that simple. And for me, like it is for most, good food is more than just taste. It’s history, nutrition, philosophy, anthropology and sociology all rolled up into one delectable morsel. This is what I love to write about. Exploring all things food and our relationship to it, while shining a well-deserved light on the remarkable people growing, distilling, cooking and creating.

GEORGIA MERTON

I’m a Wanaka-based writer with a keen interest in the role people and food can play in saving our planet. Writing, for me, is an amazing chance to hear from the most passionate among us and help to spread their message. The right words, like a beautifully crafted meal, have the ability to change people’s hearts and minds.
