At team Cuisine we have been thinking about the possibility of a Cuisine-style dinner box for over four years, but it wasn’t until a few months ago that we finally found an approach to the cook-at-home dinner box that we could truly align with. What I love about the My Nourish Kitchen concept is that, as a keen cook, I still have control over the main process. My first delivery from chef Gareth Stewart and his team had me in my kitchen inspired by the promise of a restaurant-quality meal that could be on my table in minutes, and excited by the quality of the food and the all-important preprepared cheffy bits that came with it. Everything to hand and ready to go as I ran in the door after a late meeting. And so began the seeds of an idea to have Gareth and My Nourish Kitchen produce a dinner box for people just like us – people who love to entertain. I know you will enjoy the making of this meal immensely. It’s for you to share with your besties, with a minimum of fuss and a maximum of flavour in true Cuisine-style. The easy-to-use recipe cards will make you feel like Gareth is looking over your shoulder all of the way and once you throw in his secret sauces and additions, expect to hear the one word that every cook wants to hear as they dish up a meal for a special occasion. When Kelli called me wanting to know if I’d do an entertainer's box with My Nourish Kitchen it was a no brainer. Bringing restaurant-quality dishes into homes is what we love to do and a banquet dinner party is the perfect excuse to step it up and wow your guests. I personally can spend hours preparing in the kitchen when I have guests over but that’s my passion! Not everyone has time for that – that’s why we’ve taken all the hard work out for you. We’ve chosen the best seasonal ingredients and each dish has been hand-prepared by our chefs. The barbecue pork belly is inspired by Momofuku in LA and is designed to be wrapped up in lettuce with condiments, and repeated until gone. Other dishes feature some of my favourites from Andiamo, as I believe Italian cuisine is true essence of simple, seasonal food which is perfect for sharing.
