FILL ’EM UP

Award-winning Kāpiti Coast distillery The Bond Store is expanding its bottleswapping scheme, as more of Wellington’s bars and hospitality providers pledge to minimise waste reduction and embrace sustainability. Under the scheme, bars, cafés and restaurants can return used gin and vodka bottles to the distillery, which cleans, refills, and returns the bottles. It can take up to seven cycles of refills before they are eventually sent for recycling.
